Automation
Stock and commodity prices are automatically updated each weekday evening, and changes to financial data appear here soon after they are posted on SEDAR, EDGAR or other government sites.Manual Data Gathering
Property and resource data must be gathered and updated manually from company websites, government filings, and press releases. If you have ever done this yourself, you know that it is a time-consuming process, and that to do it right you need to take shared ownership and option deals into account for each property. Sometimes we miss an update or just plain get the numbers wrong (we're human).Confirmation by Companies

To help ensure the accuracy and completeness of our resource, production and cost data, we ask parties at each company to review their pages. All companies in our database are individually asked to review their data and to either confirm its accuracy or inform us of any errors. Once a company's data is confirmed, a gold "check" is placed next to their name in the datagrid, and a badge is added to their pages, offering users confidence in the data.
This confirmation process is currently done manually over the phone and by email, but we will soon release a free account system for company representatives. Representatives will be able to login securely and confirm or submit changes to their data.

Timeliness
We monitor press releases for announcements about revisions to resource figures, and when a change is made we offer companies a one-week window to confirm our new figures and retain their "confirmed" status.We encourage companies to drop us a line as soon as fresh resource and production data is released.
