How can I use the database?
Search for exactly the companies you are interested in using Filter Search or Name Search. Click on any company to view its full pages, and click on any property from a company's page to see its details, including a satellite map. Charts and graphics along the way help to make our data useful and easy to absorb. How to use the datagrid (our jumbo online spreadsheet):
Filter Search:
Use “Filter Search” to generate lists of companies based upon any combination of Market Cap, Stage, Minerals, Type of Resource Data, Headquarter Country, or Country of Property location. Check it out: Filter Search.Name Search:
Use “Name Search” to manually generate a list of companies if you already know their names or tickers: Name SearchDatagrid Sorting:
Once you have generated a list of companies in the datagrid, use the tabs at the top of the grid to see different kinds of data (basic, financial, resources, analytics). You can sort the companies by any metric by clicking on the column headings. ProTip: you can also activate the “multiple column sort” option to sort sequentially by different columns.-
ProTip - Custom Filtering:
The datagrid allows you to narrow a list of companies even further by clicking on the "Filter" buttons at the tops of the columns. Set a custom range for variables such as enterprise value, PE ratio, price per share, or even cost per unit of mineral (gold, silver, etc) produced. -
ProTip - Direct Comparison:
Use the checkboxes next to company names to select companies for direct comparison. After making your selections, click “Compare," and these will be presented on a screen where you can make further customizations to the datagrid, such as selecting which specific data points to view in the grid. Preview Pane:
While in “List View” of the datagrid (far left tab), click on a company name to view some basic information including a stock chart, news and its Value Report Card, a graph of how it stacks up by various analytics. Click "see full data" to go to its dedicated pages.View Dedicated Company Pages:
