We want to hear your feedback!

The Mining Almanac is a free universal reference of mining company and property data.

Our database contains over 1700 companies with more than 9000 properties. This includes practically all mining & exploration stocks listed in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. We present financial, mineral resources and property data for each company, as well as a toolbox of investor metrics and graphics.

Do companies pay to be in the Mining Almanac database?

No. We simply include everyone.

How are companies selected for inclusion?

The only qualifications are a stock listing on a US, Canadian, UK or Australian exchange or OTC network (Bulletin Board, Pink Sheets, etc) and meaningful assets and business activity (we don't include shells).

If you know of a company that fits our criteria but cannot be found here, please let us know.

How do I use the site as a reference?

  • Search for companies using filters or look them up by name or ticker.
  • Compare your results in the datagrid, our online spreadsheet which shows 40+ datapoints in 6 categories for each company.
  • Read about our datapoints and our value metrics.
  • Every company has a dedicated 6-part section with a level of detail that surpasses any other online mining reference. See BHP Billiton's pages for an example, and click through the tabs there to view different data and analytics.
